In honor of Veterans Day, we wanted to dedicate this month’s spotlight to the veterans in our company. We stand with our servicemen and women who have served and sacrificed in the U.S. Armed Forces. At DevDigital, we are proud of every veteran in our workforce that brings invaluable perspective, discipline, and integrity to our business.

Thomas Ross, Partner & Sr. Data Cloud Architect

DevDigital Partner Tom Ross transitioned into a civilian IT career after serving in the United States Army for 13 years and reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served both as an MP (military police) and as a Network Systems Operator/Analyst. Tom joined the military to continue his family’s tradition of military service. In fact, he couldn’t wait to carry on the family tradition. He chose the Army because so many of his relatives also served there. Tom has over 10 years of experience in IT project management.

Micheal Hunt, IT Director Stephen Davis, Chief Business Officer

Micheal spent 12 years in the United States Air Force. He was involved in cruise missile maintenance where he worked in the data analytics department improving the maintenance processes for the systems his unit supported. Micheal decided to serve in the military to further his career goals and help his community. The Air Force seemed like the best fit for his personal goals. Micheal spent over 20 years working in database design and data management roles before joining the DevDigital team in March of 2019. Micheal also holds the highest certification possible as a Google Cloud Partner - Google Cloud Certified Data Architect. Micheal will be promoted to Chief Technology Officer effective December 1st, 2021.

Stephen Davis, Chief Business Officer

Our Chief Business Officer spent two years in Army and four years in the Army National Guard where he was an M1 Abrams tanker (19 Kilo) in the 3rd/69th Armored Division. During his service, he achieved the rank of Specialist. He trained for every role in a tank crew and earned a High Tanker Award for his performance. Stephen joined the Army in part out of patriotism and idealism and in part to honor his father, also an Army veteran. Stephen brings over 15 years of experience in business development to his role as Chief Business Officer.

Danielle Lemons, Project Manager

Danielle signed up with the Army National Guard to serve her country and “protect those that can’t protect themselves”. Her grandfather was in the Army, too. She achieved the rank of E5 in her 2.5 years of service. She spent her time as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) specialist, so she mostly handled or transported explosives. Danielle joined DevDigital in September of 2020, after working for over 10 years in various technical and management roles.

It is an honor and privilege to recognize some of DevDigital’s veterans in this special Veterans Day Employee Spotlight.
